How to Create Your First Project

Creating projects in Acme is straightforward. Follow these steps to get organized.

Step 1: Navigate to Projects

  1. Log in to your dashboard
  2. Click "Projects" in the sidebar
  3. Click the "+ New Project" button

Step 2: Configure Project Settings

Project Name

Choose a clear, descriptive name that identifies the project.

Project Type

Select from:

  • Kanban - Visual workflow boards
  • List - Traditional task lists
  • Timeline - Gantt-style planning
  • Calendar - Date-based scheduling

Privacy Settings

  • Public - Visible to all workspace members
  • Private - Only invited members can access

Step 3: Add Team Members

  1. Click "Members" tab
  2. Search for team members by name or email
  3. Assign roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer)

Step 4: Create Your First Task

Click "+ Add Task" and enter:
- Task title
- Description
- Assignee
- Due date
- Priority level

Tips for Success

  • Break large projects into smaller milestones
