How to Create Your First Project
Creating projects in Acme is straightforward. Follow these steps to get organized.
Step 1: Navigate to Projects
- Log in to your dashboard
- Click "Projects" in the sidebar
- Click the "+ New Project" button
Step 2: Configure Project Settings
Project Name
Choose a clear, descriptive name that identifies the project.
Project Type
Select from:
- Kanban - Visual workflow boards
- List - Traditional task lists
- Timeline - Gantt-style planning
- Calendar - Date-based scheduling
Privacy Settings
- Public - Visible to all workspace members
- Private - Only invited members can access
Step 3: Add Team Members
- Click "Members" tab
- Search for team members by name or email
- Assign roles (Admin, Editor, Viewer)
Step 4: Create Your First Task
Click "+ Add Task" and enter:
- Task title
- Description
- Assignee
- Due date
- Priority level
